Hurry, hurry, hurry whilst hope lasts

Someway, somehow I have managed to resist writing anything about the 'Maddie' McCannn story

That was until now

I have been waiting for the most perfect, the most tasteful expression of this sad tale to manifest itself

And here it is...

Any Fundamentalist Christians interested in picking one up should get their skates on, according to the listing the End Time is due in less than nine days

It's just a shame they can't afford to buy one for themselves

Nine days left, do think the news teams will linger that long in the algarve?
Just one small entry to a non story on the bbc uk news page today
Even the pork pie gets its own photo.

Paul don't worry there's no chance of Maddie dropping off the front pages because:
McCanns to appoint paid adviser as the search carries on

Madeleine's parents plan ways to keep public aware

The parents of missing Madeleine McCann are to appoint a long-term campaigns manager to maintain awareness of her plight after admitting they may not know the fate of their daughter for the foreseeable future.

Accepting publicly for the first time that the hunt may drag on indefinitely, Kate and Gerry McCann have begun preparing an advanced publicity strategy.

Gerry McCann said yesterday: 'We're not going to be holding press conferences in six months time to say, "Isn't this terrible?" We have to be prepared in case it does become that and that's why we need a professional campaigns manager.'

He will be paid out of the nearly £400,000 that has been donated to the McCanns by the public across Europe.
